ABOUT

Visitor Center Art Consulting is an independent curatorial and advisory practice working at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture, and collecting. It develops exhibitions, collections, and art programs guided by visual lineage, perceptual dynamics, and cross-cultural exchange — with a particular interest in how art inhabits the built environment.

Its reference points run from post-war European abstraction to contemporary practice, with a growing focus on Mediterranean art and the exchange between European, American, and Mediterranean scenes.

 

EVA ZANARDI

Visitor Center is led by Eva Zanardi, an Italian art writer, curator, and art advisor based between Malta and New York, with a focus on post-war abstraction, Neo-Expressionism, Geometric Abstraction, Contemporary Surrealism, and Lyrical Abstraction.

Her writing has appeared in Flash Art, Vogue, Whitehot Magazine, Widewalls, and Art & Object, among others. In New York, she founded and directed GR Gallery, then established Visitor Center in Newburgh, organizing exhibitions with artists including Sagarika Sundaram, Audra Wolowiec, Daniel Giordano, Felipe Pantone, and Alberto Biasi. She has also served as a guest curator at The Dorsky Museum, SUNY New Paltz.

She previously founded EZartconsultingnyc, a private consultancy specializing in modern and contemporary art acquisition and collection development — the groundwork for her current practice.
